Philips continues to launch innovative products across the home and other decorative lighting systems. The Philips Hue smart mirror has been added to the Hue’s website for the IFA tech showcase in Berlin. But when can we see them in India? For the time being Philips next target is the bathroom with its new Adore bathroom lighting products.
Philips Hue Adore is the Magic Mirror to Brighten Your Morning Bath

This new Philips Hue Adore mirror with a warm light of glowing ring provides a soft and warm glow. This new Adore bathroom mirror will work as an unique product light-up with a glowing ring around the edges. It allows you to connect it to the Hue Bridge hub which helps to integrate it into your smart home setup with new effective features like Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit.
So it has an inbuilt dimmer switch but you can control it using integrated smart assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant through the Hue Bridge. Like many of us seen Hue Lightbulbs in the market those are based on the concept of light and colour adjustment via smartphone app on your mobile. But this Adore mirror only glows white. The model is for bathrooms so it has to be followed by some international protection standards so for the same it follows an IP44 protection standard that can resist with water splashes.
With this new Adore bathroom product which offers you to adjust white light only from cooler to warmer whites. So you won’t be able to have rainbow colours while you’re in that party mind zone. It has a wireless control via remote that can be attached to a wall as a switch but it should have wired installation before that. It is integrated with an amazing feature which allows you to control it using a smart speaker like Google Home or Amazon Echo but Hue Bridge should be there.
